Kandy – The Cultural Capital of Sri Lanka

Kandy is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage City. Located in the Central Highlands at an elevation of about 500 m above sea level, Kandy was the last royal capital of Sri Lanka and remains the country's cultural and religious heart.
